The Professional Conference "Development and Construction: Legal Matters" was held at Baltschug Kempinski's Moskva Conference Hall on December 1, 2016. It was attended by representatives of major developers of the Moscow Region: top managers, project managers and heads of legal departments of developer companies.

The conference goal was to discuss amendments to Federal Law No. 214 ("On Shared Construction"), develop recommendations for their implementation as well as forecast the efficiency of those measures, from the viewpoint of both developers and individuals who are willing to participate in shared construction.


Speakers discussed important issues of real estate market development in their presentations: What are the development strategies chosen by market participants? How do the latest legislative changes affect business and what effect will their implementation have in the future?

Mikhail Viktorov, First Deputy General Director of Coalco Development, delivered a speech on the "Compensation Fund of Shared Construction in the System of Protection of Shared Market Participants in Construction. Legal Regulation." The speaker gave a number of practical recommendations to improve the existing legislation on shared construction.
