Solemn pouring of the first concrete cube took place at the construction site of Tsarskaya Square business class residential quarter located in the Northern Administrative District of Moscow at estate 31, Leningradsky Avenue.

Welcome speeches were pronounced at the event by Roman Timokhin, General Director of MR Group, and Alexey Kuznetsov, COALCO Deputy General Director. They jointly put a memorable capsule that contains an Address to the Descendants.

“This is a project for those who wish to live in a unique historical place, not far from the city center, in the building and neighborhood you can be proud of”, noted Alexey Kuznetsov, COALCO Deputy General Director.

Tsarskaya Square, a new business class residential complex, is a unique combination of the place steeped in history, a bright architectural concept, comfortable living environment and modern engineering solutions. The complex comprises four buildings whose names reflect association with history: Ekaterininsky, Romanovsky, Petrovsky and Alexandrovsky.

The architectural solution was developed by Speech, an international bureau.

The following will be realized in Tsarskaya Square complex: residential real estate – flats and apartments, as well as all the infrastructure required for comfortable life, such as a kindergarten, a fitness center and trade areas. The territory of the complex will be fenced and improved, and it will be equipped with children's play complexes and sports grounds, pedestrian alleys, rest zones, lawns and flowerbeds.

The architectural composition will be dominated by the legendary Tsar Pavilion built in 1882 for the opening of the All-Russian Arts and Industries Exhibition, and where the Emperor Alexander III stayed with his family in September of the same year. A pedestrian gallery will be built around the tsar pavilion where art objects will be installed and a large rest zone with fountains will be organized, and in winter there will be a skating rink where all those who wish will be able to have a good time.

The development concept was elaborated by Wowhaus bureau, the author of the best urban spaces in Moscow (Museon park, Crimean Embankment, Gorky Park).
